How to Charge an Imported Electric Car with Existing EV Charging Equipment?

Nowaways, in Europe, more and more electric cars are imported from China and US. It remains a question to charge those imported electric cars. EV adapters are the most cost-effective solution.

We all know there are AC charging equipment and DC charging equipment for electric vehicles in most countries in the world. EV adapters, therefore, have the AC EV charging adapter and the DC one.

Taking the charging scenariors in EU for example, if you have a car with a Type 1 or CCS 1 inlet socket, you need a Type 2-to-Type 1 EV adapter or Type 2-to-Type 1 EV charging cable in order to access the fixed Type 2 EV chargers (wallbox chargers or charging piles), and you need a CCS 2-to-CCS 1 EV charging adapter cable to make use of the CCS 2 charging stations. Below are pictures for the three adapters or adapter cables.

On the contrary, if you live in North America but have a car with a Type 2 or CCS 2 inlet socket, you need a Type 1-to-Type 2 EV adapter or in order to access the fixed Type 1 wallbox chargers or charging piles. You need a CCS 1-to-CCS 2 EV adapter to make use of the CCS 1 charging stations. Below are pictures for the two adapters.
